Using Scoopkit's API or website means agreeing to this. It's written to be actually read, not to hide behind legal density.
The tiers
Free: 100 requests a day, 45-day archive, no card required, usable in production. Pro: $49/mo, 10,000 requests a day, search, webhooks, 12-month archive. Enterprise: custom, contact keys@scoopkit.dev.
Billing
Pro billing runs through Stripe on a monthly subscription, no long-term contract. Cancel anytime through the Stripe customer portal; your key drops back to the free tier's limits at the end of the billing period. There's no automatic refund for a partial month, but email if a charge looks wrong and it'll get sorted out directly, not through a ticket system.
Fair use
Stay within your tier's rate limits. Don't try to circumvent them (multiple keys to dodge the daily cap, for example), and don't resell or redistribute raw Scoopkit event data as a competing dataset. Building a product on top of the API, including one that competes with Scoopkit in some other way, is fine; reselling the same data wholesale isn't.
Availability
Scoopkit is built and run by one person. There's no formal uptime SLA the way a larger company might publish, though the pipeline has real monitoring and alerting behind it. If something's down, email and it'll get looked at directly.
